Summer beauty?

Beauty tips for the skin?
Wrinkle Free at 83?
Take a packet of raw sugar, and a few drops of olive oil to make it easier to spread in the creases of your face. It prevents wrinkles when you get older by gently stretching the skin and exfoliating it too, to open the pores and prevent pimples.

Got Black Heads?
Sephora.com has a great tool used to actually and physically remove blackheads. All you do is use steam or hot water to soften the skin. This reduces the chance of redness and pain afterwards. You use the side with the circle on it and press it on your blackhead without hitting it. Make sure you insert the pimple in the center of the circle. Use the pointy side to gently tap the tip of the blackhead. This tool costs 18$ and is not sold in stores.

Make up washing away?
Apply your makeup in the morning, and spray a light mist 4 inches away from your face. This will set your makeup and please your skin for the rest of the day.

Eyes shadow?
Add congealer before applying Eye shadow, this will help the eye shadow last longer.

Ouch, you just cut yourself shaving!
Rub garlic on the cut to make it heal faster.

Want Highlights and you’re a brunette or Red Head?
¼ cup cranberry juice and ¼ cup or water to add natural highlights to you’re hair. Blonds use Lemon Juice instead.

Summer sunburn? ; Olive oil works to sooth and condition the skin. Your skin will thank you.

Prom :)

Accessories?;
Gloves will always give your dress a classier look than a party one. Short gloves go better with Cinderella-type dresses. Always go with white, or a salmon color.
If you want to wear them with a party look go with a Metallic color rather than the one above. More of the longer ones go tend to blend in better with your dress.

Clutch; grab a simple one with a fun detail on the front, don’t make it don’t make it too tiny, you have to fit all your things in there!

Perfect Bra?; Grab the perfect one to make sure it does not make any slips during your perfect night, try it on in the store and dance around in the dressing room, just to try it out ;)
Help with a controlling mom?
Money/Budget; Sit your mom down and talk to her about costs, see if you can help or a very special family member can. :) Divide costs with friends, instead of 4 going in the limo make it 6. Do some work around the house for money.

Curfew; “ Be home by 11.” Do you know what that means? No after party. If you would like to stay out later, tell her exactly where you will be and with whom you will be with. Promise to bring you cell phone and call her ever half hour or 15 minutes.

Make sure she helps; Your mom wants to be there every step of the way, so let her help out with some of the little things you have left to do. Don’t forget that you’re excited and so is she so don’t let her go bored.

Laniya Thompson
I read a book called Its Kind of A funny Story by Ned Vizzini. It’s based on his own life experience as a teenager. So basically he goes to a new school that puts him under a lot of pressure to get good grades, and please him self and family. He ends up just giving up on his life, and gaining clinical depression. He can’t eat or sleep and he has this for a very long time. His friends do drugs, and so does he.

Sooner or later, he has suicide thoughts and plans to kill himself jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge. He calls 1800-suicide and they tell him to go to the hospital. They tell him that he needs to stay with the hospital for a week. He ends up making friends and a girlfriend there who cuts her face because she thinks everyone judges her on her beautiful looks. Once he leaves he has no more depression, and a new prospective on life.

this is a book.

recent adds

I saw the most amazing thing in the Christiana Mall! Do you want to know exactly where and what they are? In Delia’s I saw huge flare pants. They are 49.50! Of course I had to buy a pair. They don’t really look like jeans but they are. They look like soft jeans.
Suspenders are really coming back. I love them but I do think they are some what of a hassle when trying to put them on your shoulders. I would rather just wear them down to my knees. Lastly Pea coats are the stuff. My mom went on aeropostale’s website and saw a pea coat. It was black and gray and blue. But it wasn’t on the racks yet at the store. So my mom ordered it. May I remind you it was in like June so I haven’t worn it until beginning of October. Then I saw everyone else wear it shortly after for about half the price I got it for. So waiting does pay off. Don’t wait for too long or there wont be any left. That’s a little word of the “wise” for the spring.

2nd;
I know that all of us sometimes go to school looking one way, then come back looking another. Its either stains, tears or spots in our clothes. One way to avoid our little friends is to find out when the cafeteria will be serving our favorite spaghetti at school just when its time to wear our favorite white shirt. Or try not to eat like a savage at lunch. Try to avoid whites, bright yellows, and other dazzling colors because those are the ones that always take us by surprise, and end up with a stain. OR try to keep something over you while you eat. Concentration takes you a long way in the class room, but is kind of useful in the lunch room too. Keep things that you are able to take off without it looking weird away from you while you eat. For example give a purse to a friend but keep more improtant things in you pocket. That's all there is to that little mayhem. :D
